About Us
I am a spine surgeon with over 10 years experience in treating people with spine related problems. I am Board Certified in Spine Surgery and one of very few doctors that has trained in both Orthopedic Spine and Neurosurgery.  Patients have traveled to see me from Alaska, Idaho, the East Coast and Overseas.  I have noticed, in my practice, that a significant number of my patients with back pain need direction, not a surgery.  Some need a specific brace or product to help curb their pain issues, and others may need targeted excercises and stretching.  The medical field and insurance is not set up to provide this kind of service to patients for a reasonable price.  My goal is to help patients help themselves.  Knowledge is power and giving patients an understanding of the spine could help them manage their pain and even avoid surgery.

As a surgeon I took an oath to first do no harm.  I consider myself a man of integrity and always look for the best way to help people.  People see me for spine surgery, but a good amount of patients do not need surgery.  However, these patients still suffer from real back pain.  I decided it was time I take my spine expertise and apply it to non-surgical answers.  This site is dedicated to those looking for solutions to their pain, using non-operative techniques.  Intimate knowledge of spine pathology and anatomy allows insights that others can miss.  This knowledge allows us to create products to help prevent or resolve low back pain, neck pain, trochanteric bursitis, and many other painful symptoms.  If you're looking for answers that the medical community has failed to give you, welcome, you are in the right place.  I started Spine Refined to help patients that are looking for relief or even prevention and I want to help any way that I can.
